United Dairyfarmers of Victoria (UDV)
United Dairyfarmers of Victoria (UDV) represents the dairy section of the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) – Australia’s largest state farmer organisation, representing seven commodity groups also including, livestock, grains, horticulture, chicken meat, eggs and pigs. UDV represents its members at a state and local level through 10 unique regions across Victoria, and advocates on a broad range of agricultural issues affecting all farmers, not just those specific to dairy.
UDV’s 2015-16 highlights
- Led the industry discussion on milk price structure.
- Organised a day long milk review discussion involving 12 key dairy industry consultants to develop a discussion paper.
- Led the push for a full review of the TCP3 program including the effectiveness of the current program.
